Artist Statement-
The pictures I took are pictures of pictures and jars going up by one in each photo. The elements shown in the pictures are space, texture, lighting, shape, line, color, shadows, and value. I feel I succeeded in showing texture, shape, and shadows. The texture is shown by the paper towels witch weren't purposely photographed; you can see the towels aren't smooth and you can see how the jars are two demential. Shape is shown in the square photos and the rectangles jars. You can see shadows the paper towels make on the wall. If I could do this project over again I would use better lighting and take the pictures from different angles.
Hi Camilla, I'm a bit confused. Am I focusing on the jars or the photographs? By my understanding it looks like you're increasing the number of jars with the number of photographs. The assignment was to photograph 5 images, do you have more? Please upload and let me know. Thank you.
